Aloud Mail, by TruSoftware LLC — effective August 7, 2026
To operate the service we keep the minimum: your Apple subscription transaction ID and its status (to know the subscription is active), a short-lived session token, and transient per-session usage counters used for abuse prevention and rate limiting. That is the complete list. We collect no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no location, and we never sell or share data with anyone for marketing.
Reading, summaries, translation, voice questions, and dictated replies send the relevant email text — and your spoken requests — to Google Gemini through our own server, only to do what you asked. We use Gemini’s paid tier, which does not use your content to train models. The app asks for your explicit consent before the first use of AI, and the app does not process mail until you agree. If you no longer agree, stop using the app and delete it; nothing about you remains on our server except the subscription record described above.
When you connect a Gmail account, Aloud Mail accesses your messages through Google’s official Gmail API (the “modify” permission) solely to provide the features in front of you: reading messages aloud, summarizing and translating them, answering your spoken questions about them, marking messages read, and sending replies you dictate and confirm. Message content is processed transiently as described under “AI processing” — never stored on our servers, never used for advertising, and never sold. No human reads your data, except with your explicit consent for a support issue, or where required for security or by law.
Aloud Mail’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Billing is handled entirely by Apple In-App Purchase. We receive subscription status from Apple, never your payment details.
Removing your mail accounts in the app deletes all locally stored mail, translations, and sign-in credentials from the device. Deleting the app removes everything else local. To have your subscription record removed from our server, email us from any address with your request — since we hold no identity beyond the transaction ID, we will walk you through confirming it.
Aloud Mail is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be announced in the app.
