By using Aloud Mail you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app. The app itself is licensed under Apple’s standard EULA; these terms cover the Aloud Mail service behind it.
Aloud Mail is an accessible email app: it reads your mail aloud, answers questions about it, translates it, and writes and sends replies you dictate — built first for blind and low-vision users. AI features are provided through our server using Google Gemini, after your explicit in-app consent.
Aloud Mail requires a monthly auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings. Prices are shown before purchase and may change with notice; offer codes may provide free periods. Billing, refunds, and payment data are handled by Apple, not by us — refund requests go through Apple.
You connect your own email accounts and authorize Aloud Mail to read and send mail on your behalf. The app sends email only after your confirmation — a reply or new message is read back to you and goes out only when you approve it. You are responsible for the contents of the messages you choose to send and for complying with your email provider’s terms.
Summaries, translations, answers, and drafted replies are generated by AI and may be incomplete or incorrect. For anything important — medical instructions, money, legal matters, appointments — listen to the full original message or verify with the sender before acting. Aloud Mail is not a substitute for professional advice.
Don’t use Aloud Mail to send spam or unlawful content, to attempt to access mail that isn’t yours, or to probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend service to protect the system or other users.
How data moves through Aloud Mail is described in the Privacy Policy — the short version: credentials stay on your device, our servers store no mail, and there is no Aloud account.
Aloud Mail is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Email delivery, AI availability, and third-party providers are outside our control and not guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TruSoftware LLC’s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
You can stop using the service anytime by cancelling the subscription and deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms.
We may update these terms; the current version lives at this page with its effective date, and material changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which TruSoftware LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
